Trim-A-Slab is designed for use with rounded-edge slabs typically found in residential driveways, and in sidewalks both residential and commercial. See the figures below for cross-section views of Trim-A-Slab in the range of expansion joint sizes for which this product is recommended.

Note that Trim-A-Slab 1" will fit in joints that are smaller than 7/8", however, the top 'crown' of Trim-A-Slab will then protrude above the slab surface, which may be a tripping hazard. Trim-A-Slab 1" requires a minimum of 1.5 inches of depth for installation.
